I'm a productivity junkie. I'm always looking for a new way to organize my projects, housework, and general to-dos. Paper planners, bullet journals, apps, sticky notes - I've tried it all. Which has given me a really good idea of what I want/need in a to-do list. In a perfect world, my to-do list would: Sort tasks by two main categories - Home and WorkAllow me to break Home and Work into smaller sub-projectsCan be accessed anywhere, from any deviceLet each task have sub-tasksLet each task ... iPhone XS Review
About a month ago, I decided to trade in my iPhone 7 Plus for a shiny new iPhone XS. There wasn't anything inherently wrong with my 7 Plus, I just got a case of "shiny object syndrome" and the only real way to solve it was to upgrade my phone. I loved a lot about my 7 Plus. The bigger screen was great, and I loved the dual cameras - portrait mode took my Instagram to another level. But, there were also a few downsides. The biggest one was size; I couldn't comfortably hold it in one hand and ... Keep Reading
Gift Ideas for the Person Who Has Everything
Every Holiday season, I get harassed by family members that I'm hard to shop for. You see, I tend to buy myself basically whatever I want. I'm a shopaholic. I don't mean to be, but I am. On the flip side, my husband is equally hard to shop for. He, too, tends to end up with everything he wants. So big, fancy gifts like new game consoles and things don't make a splash because he already has it. We are "the Person Who Has Everything". And being both that person, and having to shop for that ... Keep Reading
TarDisk Revisited: Maybe It’s Not So Great?
A little over a year ago, I blogged about the TarDisk - a small flash-storage device that promised to add to the storage on your Mac device. Since my MacBook Air only has 128 GB of storage, I picked up a 128 GB TarDisk and got it installed. It doubled my storage space, and seemed like a great investment (even if the re-Pearing process was an absolute nightmare). Unfortunately, not all that glitters is gold. A year later, and I'm sad to say that I'm no longer using the TarDisk with my MacBook ... Keep Reading
8 Things I’m Loving This Fall
Fall used to be my favorite season. Until I bought a house and realized that fall leads to winter, and winter sucks. So now my favorite season is spring. But I'm still a sucker for everything that fall brings with it - cooler weather, beautiful leaves, pumpkin spice everything (I am basic af.) Not everything on this list is fall-themed. More than anything, I wanted to share a peek into my life - I haven't blogged since May, and I spent my summer struggling with myself and my mental health, so ... Keep Reading
My Experience with Nexplanon
First things first. I am not a doctor or medical professional. This post isn't meant to be a substitute for real medical advice from said professionals. It also isn't a paid review. It is simply my personal experiences with Nexplanon. I fought with myself on whether or not I should publish this. Some people may not like it. Conservative family members, perhaps it's best to look away. But if you're interested in, or considering getting Nexplanon, maybe I can be of some help. What is ... Keep Reading
